Plots which will remain unconstructed will be charged taxes on their sales.

Increase in fair market value will be in 21 different cities of the country.

It has also been decided to give relief in tax if construction is done on plots, this relaxation was not available to taxpayers previously.

FBR is charging Withholding tax currently on 57 sectors, 17 sectors will be given relief of such tax.

Currently capital gain tax relief available on sale of plot after 3 years will be removed and such tax will be charged irrespective of time period of holding of property.
