 A meeting was held on Wednesday 23^rd may 2019, Chaired by CM Punjab Usman Buzdar where it was decided to implement new provincial taxes and to enhance the tax rates of already charged taxes in the upcoming provincial budget of Punjab for the year 2019-2020.

Where it was decided to increase the property tax of different areas and also increase the sales tax on various products by 50% respectively.

 In the upcoming provincial budget it has been decided to increase the taxes on farmers whereby suggestion has been given to increase the fee acre tax by 100%.
