State Bank Of Pakistan (SBP) authorised to FBR to directly approach the Banks for Data & Information | Broadening Of Tax Base | Global Tax Consultants %Top Tax Consultants In Lahore Pakistan

State Bank Of Pakistan (SBP) authorised to Federal Board Of Revenue (FBR) to collect information and data from commercial banks for broadening of tax base. SBP has also communicated to the FBR that it may directly approach the commercial banks to inquire about the required information and data under the relevant provisions of law.

SBP further said that they are authorised only to regulate the banks and its allied institutions and SBP does not maintain the data and information of account holders of commercial banks, and existing legal framework also restricts to share the such information and data.
