Salaried taxpayers in the current budget are most effected class of taxpayers. Up to Tax Year 2018 the tax volume of salaried individuals have a major share in the tax exchequer of pakistan revenue. In the last year budget of 2018-2019 (tax year 2019) the previous government relaxed the tax rates and gave a material chnages in tax slabs and it gave a drastic impact on the tax saving of the salaried class. Now in the current year budget again the tax rates have been revised and only the exemption limit has been increased to Rs 600,000.
The overall impact in the current year budget increased the tax on salary and again the salaried class is in burden.
