Traders March against FBR in Islamabad | Due to unresolved matters of sales Tax with Traders |
Previously the FBR has tried its best to resolve the differences of opinion between traders and FBR officials over the matters of rates of sales tax.
The matter was previously initiated at may platforms of chamber of commerce and industries and with business communities in different cities, but traders did not agree over the terms of FBR.
This situation has become severe and is not in favour of the pakistan revenue targets which are still less as compare to previous years because now registered taxpayers are increasing day by day but revenue is not increasing to such ratio.
The current situation in Islamabad seems that traders do not want to settle their terms for payment of income tax and sales tax and moreover the requirement of registration with FBR. Ultimately FBR will impose tax and policies which they deem fit and will be implemented accordingly.
