
Stats of Submitted Tax Returns 2019
Recently Chairman FBR (Federal Board of Revenue). Mr Syed Shabbar Zaidi tweeted to explain that the no of Taxpayers submitted tax returns 2019 are increasing massively. Mr Shabbar Zaidi meanwhile shared a table showing stats of submitted tax returns of 2019.
The stats where taken from PRAL organization responsible for the online matters of FBR. Statistics shows the results up to 25th October 2019. The more taxpayers expected to increase in coming days as last date for submission of tax returns is due as at 31st October 2019.

Mr Shabbar Zaidi highlighted and explained the stats along with comparisons with previous tax year. Along with no of taxpayers submitted tax returns in tax year 2019. The statistics clearly shows that how people are taking interest, in submission of tax returns for tax year 2019.
The comparison shows that last year about 585,209 Peoples submitted tax returns. Up to now no of taxpayers submitted tax return for tax year 2019 is 918,027. Difference with 2018 submitted tax returns up to now is 332.818.

It is clear now that no of tax returns
are increasing day by day. But most important thing is that either tax revenue is increasing or not. Documentation of economy is always need of the hour. Which now government and FBR is already targeting. But how much such tax returns are reliable ? and how much increase in tax revenue ? Is it contributing ? should be a matter of interest of the government and FBR.
It is also important now to provide knowledge to general public about tax.That what is a right way to submit tax return. For submission of Tax Return 2019 Last date is 31st October 2019. FBR will increase the last date for submission of tax return of 2019. Currently FBR should also take steps to analyse stats of submitted tax returns 2019 as well as previous years to check the reliability of submitted tax returns.
