Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), shabbar zaidi regained today from his office according to media reports. But chairman FBR Shabbar Zaidi denied the rumors of his resign. He categorically denied the rumors of his resign and told to media in briefing that he is on leave due to his medical health and did not resign.

Earlier he was on medical leaves. Due to his health issues he was unable to continue his responsibilities  from many days. Currently he is on indefinite medical leaves.

He was appointed as chairman FBR in replacement of Mohammad Jahanzeb Khan on May 6, 2019.
